This is one of my new favorite restaurants. The food is awesome! The service is top tier! I have not ordered one item that I did not absolutely love! The specials are delectable and brilliantly described by the waiter. Dessert is excellent. Added Bonus: BYOB. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Firstly, the restaurant was impeccably clean and the staff was friendly. We had octopus salad and fried calamari to start. Both were outstanding! Then we tried several dishes, chicken parmigiana, chicken marsala and seafood liquini. All dishes were seasoned well, rich delicious sauces and they came out quickly. Additionally, we had a pork chop dish on a bed of scalloped potatoes with seasonal vegetables and mushroom sauce. Wow, chop was tender and delicious! If you are in the area,it is a must stop. If you are not in the area, it is still a must stop! Be sure to call ahead for reservations.

Came here July 2. The place looks amazing. Very high class. Our waiters were great, friendly and extremely knowledgable about the menu. We ordered the calamari and Cesar salad to start: calamari crisp to perfection, the marinara sauces was super fresh and tasty. The house made Cesar dressing was amazing. Our chicken and pasta with mushrooms was delicious. But the best part was their lamb shank, slow cooked and amazing tender. Best Italian food I've had, period. I can not wait to come eat here again soon!

A charming spot with the warmest people with olde school Italian food that hits the mark. Buona Sera Havertown has a warm welcoming atmosphere, excellent staff and a great menu of everyone’s favorites. Since 2022, this throwback has been a favorite in town. The shrimp pastas was excellent But the hit was the Scaloppine Alla Cardinale veal scaloppine sauteed with white wine, prosciutto, mozzarella and topped with roasted peppers.. The menu includes enough veal, seafood, chicken, sausage, and steak entrees to make choosing just one a challenge. Oh and yes the calamari and fresh mozzarella apps were bellissimo! Homemade desserts galore...need more reasons to go? No.

Overall, I thought that Buona Sera has strengths and weaknesses to it but the service and overall experience make me want to go back again. When we first walked into Buona Sera, we were immediately greeted by a friendly host. We were lucky enough to be able to pick a seat of our liking. They quickly came out with water and menus. Unfortunately, there are no kids menus so kids have to pick off the regular menu. Appetizer prices ranged from 10-24 and entrees ranged from 22-34. They also have a wide range of options of specials each night. After ordering, they came out with fresh bread and softened butter. For our appetizer we got fried calamari with lemon and spicy tomato sauce (it was not spicy). The calamari was just the right balance of crunchy and chewy. After a short wait the entrees came out. I got the pasta bolognese which was very good with the meat cooked to perfection. If I were to change one thing about the pasta, I would have cooked it a little longer so it wouldn’t have been so hard. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals as well. The restaurant is fairly small and we noticed it was pretty plain. There is nothing particularly special about decorations on the outside or the inside. The white table cloths make the restaurant look more fancy along with the wine glasses. The single use bathrooms were clean and ready to be used by the next person, except for the weird rattling noise when you turned on the lights. The lighting was soft and the music was at a nice level giving the room a nice feeling. There were many parties going on and the service still seemed to be good and people were having a nice time.
